Positioning
RespiraMate is a connected asthma management system built for how people actually manage the condition day to day, not just what happens during a clinic visit.
Mechanism
A retro-fit smart inhaler shell attaches to a standard inhaler and logs every dose. That data, along with signals from the patient's wearable and phone, flows into a platform that learns each patient's personal pattern: the combination of medication use, physiological signals, and environmental conditions that tends to come before an attack. Patients see it in the app; physicians see it through adherence and trend data shared with consent.
Outcome
Fewer missed doses, fewer attacks that arrive without warning, and a clearer picture for doctors between visits, without new hardware beyond the inhaler itself.

Heart rate and HRV, blood oxygen, respiratory rate (where supported), skin temperature, sleep, activity.
HRV matters most: it shifts before a person consciously feels short of breath.
From your phone
Location (correlating flare-ups with places), barometric pressure (weather-front changes), and, for patients who opt in, passive cough and wheeze detection from ambient audio.
From the environment
Pollen count, air quality (PM2.5, PM10, NO2, SO2, ozone), humidity, temperature.
The correlation engine
Individually these are just numbers. Tracked against a patient's own history, they become a personal pattern: the specific combination that precedes that patient's attacks.
